In a move that's seemed inevitable since his summer move to Manchester United, Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have finally switched camps after lacing up in the adidas X 16.1 for his sides clash with Chelsea.

Stamford Bridge was the home for two sides that suited up in the Three Stripes this weekend as Chelsea ran riot. One more player to switch ranks from swoosh to stripes was that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he laced up in his own version of the adidas X 16.1, straight out of the Stellar Pack. Featuring custom lacing and what's likely a bespoke upper, it's a closer look at the same boots the Swede has been training in this week.

Some description

The switch is a notable line in the sand drawn by Zlatan who has been a Nike player for countless seasons. The launch of his A-Z Sportswear brand obviously came with question marks over what footwear he would bring to the party and with adidas dominating the scene at Old Trafford, it would appear that those Three Stripes have finally been given the Zlatan seal of approval.

It's a whole new look for a player so ingrained to the Nike brand. Could this be the end of a relationship that has seen him front and face many Nike campaigns? Is it a statement, or is it just a classic shift in the wardrobe for a man who rules by his own choices. Let's hope he parks up in CICA blades for the Manchester derby come Tuesday.
