Leo Messi is set to debut his signature adidas 'Ocean Storm' colourway when Argentina take on Uruguay and Venezuela in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers this week. A timely colourway on the Nemeziz as Messi switches into the blue and white stripes of his country.

It's the first signature Nemeziz colourway that Messi will wear on pitch, and one that he'll wear exclusively as all other adidas Nemeziz athletes will remain in the 'Ocean Storm' collection that was launched ahead of the new European season. The Barcelona man provided a first look at his new footwear as he joined up with the national team to train in Buenos Aires before travelling to Uruguay.

Messi's edition of the Nemeziz is a modified one. Firstly, he continues to overlook the laceless 17+ 360 Agility in favour of the laced 17.1 design, but Messi also adds more modifications around the heel and tongue area, which you can kind of do when you're the best player in the world. The word 'Nemeziz' that appears across the upper is also changed to 'Messi' for an added sense of ownership.
