The next chapter of adidas football arrives tomorrow. After months of speculation, blackouts and mysterious concepts adidas have installed Leo Messi as the headline act and to tease the upcoming project and name for their brand new silo: Nemeziz.

Wrapped in clues, Messi holds a bandage with the word 'Nemeziz' printed over a trippy black and white design to indicate how the launch of the boot will shape up. Charging through innovation barriers with no sign of slowing down adidas are back on that next-generation wagon with a totally new concept that will be revealed in all its impressive form tomorrow (May 26).

Adidas have slayed the innovation game with the ACE 17+ Purecontrol and tomorrow will see the brand throw more innovative creativity on the market with a design unseen on a football boot. As the MESSI 16+ Pureagility is retired, the Nemeziz is placed on the feet of a footballing genius who will headline the new Nemeziz collection. The first step on the road to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the Nemeziz is a completely new silo that comes with a wrapped ankle construction (hence the tease imagery) and a whole host of technology enhancements centered around agility.

Messi hasn't wasted any time getting accustomed to his new footwear having switched into the launch colourway of the Nemeziz as Barcelona trained ahead of the Copa del Rey Final against Alaves on Saturday. The standard Nemeziz boot will feature the title of the boot across the wrap on the side of the silhouette, but the Barcelona man's boot are marked with the word 'MESSI' because, well, he's different isn't he?

Stay tuned for a full first look at the adidas Nemeziz tomorrow (May 26).
