Yukari Kinga (Melbourne City) Mizuno Morelia Neo II

Australia's W-League got underway this week, and Melbourne City's Japanese defender, Yukari Kinga showed off the new 'Brazilian Spirit' Mizuno Morelia Neo II in her side's 1-1 draw with the Newcastle Jets. The 'Brazilian Spirit' pack was launched as a tribute to some of the greatest Brazilians to wear the brand through the years, with the colour being an obvious link to the Selecao.

Antoine Griezmann (France) PUMA Future 5.1

PUMA launched the next generation Future 5.1 under the 'Flash Pack' heading this week. Dressed in a smart blue look with black trimmings it has now debuted on pitch on the feet of Antoine Griezmann in France's EURO 2020 qualifier against Albania, a game the World Champions won 2-0, with Griezmann notching the second.

Hector Herrera (Atletico Madrid) Nike Tech Craft PhantomVNM

While the international break rumbled on through the week, those not selected to represent their nations were left to train with their clubs. Atletico Madrid's Hector Herrera was one such player, and he trained this week in the recently launched Nike PhantomVNM 'Tech Craft' edition.

Dani Maldini (AC Milan) Nike Tech Craft Mercurial Vapor XIII

Prior to the release of the Tech Craft PhantomVNM, Nike released the Tech Craft Mercurial Vapor XIII back in September, and AC Milan's Dani Maldini – son of the famous Paolo – chose to pull on the leather specials for training.

James McClean (Republic of Ireland) Nike Mercurial Superfly VIII

James McClean has never hidden his love of the Mercurial line, sporting all manner of special editions down the years. But the Irishman must be in his element with the new Nike by You platform, as evidenced by his new custom Superflys, which come in his country's colours, with gold detailing and some added personal touches, courtesy of @exclusive_custom_cleats. Personalisation turned to the max.

Jack Byrne (Republic of Ireland) Nike CTR360 Maestri II

Sticking with Ireland, and Jack Byrne took the throwback approach, dusting off the Nike CTR360 Maestri II from 2012's 'Clash Collection'. Launched alongside the Mercurial Vapor VIII, T90 Laser IV and Tiempo Legend IV ahead of EURO 2012, the CTR's Byrne is wearing might well be at EURO 2020 too, if the boys in green get a win against Denmark tonight

Josh Parker (Wycombe Wanderers) Nike Premier II

Another boot that, at first glance, takes you back to 2012's 'Clash Collection' is the recently released Premier II, which features a design that pays homage to the Tiempo from that pack. And in a rare appearance on a professional pitch, Wycombe's Josh Parker was spotted in them in his side's 2-1 Leasing.com Trophy win against MK Dons.

Franck Kessie (Ivory Coast) adidas F50 Adizero Leather

Franck Kessie's love for the F50 silo is no secret, and now he's followed up his appearance on last week's Boot Spotting with a second consecutive showing, this time training in 2011's "Blue/White" leather F50 Adizero.

Sergio Dest (USA) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII

Giving us a sneak on-pitch peak at an upcoming release from Nike, USA's Sergio Dest was spotted in a previously unseen Mercurial Vapor in his side's thumping 4-1 win over neighbours Canada. The boot features a unique gold, purple and green colourway, and its appearance suggests that this one will be dropping sometime soon.

BS Diamanti 1-min.jpg

Alessandro Diamanti (Western United) Nike Tiempo Legend V

Western United's Alessandro Diamanti opted for the throwback comfort of the Tiempo Legend V from 2015's 'Tech Craft Pack' in his side's 1-0 loss to the Newcastle Jets. The 'Tech Craft Pack' saw Nike's lineup given a leather makeover. Not much of a change for the Tiempo tech-wise then, but the "Canvas/Volt" colourway was certainly a memorable one. We'll let you decide whether that was for the right or wrong reasons.

Max Burgess (Western United) Nike Hypervenom GX

Also spotted in that A-League match was Max Burgess in his limited edition Nike Hypervenom GX boots, which were released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the '97 Air GX football boot. Created in Nike's legendary Montebelluna factory in Italy, it retained the iconic signature details of the OG, but combined them with Flyknit and K-leather. Underrated gem, this.
