Guatemala based graphic designer experiments with flat design, mocking up a re-brand of the club he supports. Club Social y Deportivo Municipal
Club Social y Deportivo Municipal are also known as Municipal or Los Rojo, they are arguably the biggest club in Guatemala and have a history of title winning glory. A success on the field, there's no denying their identity.
As part of a purely conceptual design piece, Ale Márquez took a look at his club (CSD Municipal) as a brand and applied his skills to recreate the clubs badge, tweak its fonts and mock up a potential kit idea. Very much a passion project, the designer has done a fine job adding a touch of minimalist class to his teams' brand. Simple though strong, it's a great piece of work and nice story to tell from central America.
