Major League Soccer's newest team, Los Angeles Football Club, have unveiled their official crest and club colours that pay homage to the rich history of Los Angeles.
The MLS new boys are already making noise out of Los Angeles ahead of their debut season in 2018. The announcement begins an exciting new chapter in the MLS and for Los Angeles who will have a top-flight soccer rivalry to look forward to each season. Being a city of such high profile and fame it's no surprise to see a number of key figures backing the project, including Magic Johnson, U.S. soccer star Mia Hamm and MLB All-Star Nomar Garciaparra.
All the plans are in place for L.A.F.C. to make a huge impression come kick off in 2018. Work behind-the-scenes started long ago and now the club and it's new fan base have an identity to celebrate. Game on.
