Every club has their story, every club has their fans. Eight miles north west of Manchester are Oldham Athletic. A project that stands two years in the making, David Shaw has captured imagery that personifies the fans of this club. "Oh When The Blues" is his project that he's pitching through Kickstarter - it's well worth the attention of your eyes.

The is a project that comes from passionate places with David Shaw heading to Oldham back in 2014 having not experienced a match day at Boundary Park before. Caught up in the vocal though welcoming support, his photos tell a story that goes from fly on the wall to middle of the room as he became swept up in the excitement. Not looking back and creating all along, he's also produced this video tell's the story of Latics fan Keith Head. A jewel of a short film in itself, jump to 2:42 for a lesson in pie eating.

In explaining how it all came to fruition, David explains; "I decided to photograph the Oldham Athletic community after I attended an Oldham home match in 2014 against Scunthorpe. I was pleasantly surprised to find a group of fans both passionate about the club and sport but also very friendly. I started photographing shortly after and was swiftly invited to more games, people's homes, and of course, the pub. Since then I have made as many of the games home and away as I can and feel as though I myself, am also a fan. These pictures document the community through its highs and lows focusing on the many characters and supporters groups involved."

David has launched a kickstarter with the aim of putting the pictures down in print. No doubts it'd be a keeper, you can get a glimpse of his vision below.
