Bolstering his reputation as one of the most stylish men in the world, Inter Miami owner David Beckham wore a full custom suit from Ralph Lauren’s Purple Label made-to-measure program for his club’s MLS debut on the weekend. And now the fashion powerhouse has provided a closer look at the suit in a short video, with input from Beckham himself.

David Beckham has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most stylish men in the world, and for the debut of his new Inter Miami CF MLS franchise, Ralph Lauren designed a Purple Label Made-to-Measure suit customised in every detail, from hand-selected Italian wool gabardine and an embroidered crest to private fittings and precision tailoring. “Ralph makes people feel special, whatever he's making, whatever he's doing, and there's so much detail that goes into every single piece. To be able to work with Ralph on these suits was very special for me.

The suit itself was a classic black wool gabardine complete with his team's crest stitched subtly below the breast pocket, and it was complemented by a silk tie embroidered with Inter Miami's "M" icon. "Ralph Lauren is a man I've admired for a long time, and I've worn his designs on so many important occasions throughout my life," Beckham said. "For the last seven years I've imagined what it will feel like to stand pitch side as an owner of Inter Miami CF. It's going to be incredible moment for me watching our first game and to be wearing an IMCF custom Ralph suit. I'm so grateful to Ralph for giving his time to support me on this special day."
