Taking a dip into unknown environments, World Cup Qualifying offers a beautiful opportunity to grab a glimpse of football culture around the globe. This framed offering comes from the Hanrapetakan Stadium as Armenia hosted Denmark.

An adventure not short in stopping points, this selection of shots comes from raw surroundings - the city of Yerevan, Armenia to be precise. This was a fixture that Armenia went into with pure pride to play for though for Denmark, the chance of qualification for Russia 2018 is still very much there to play for and in laying down the sword, they held no prisoners as they went to work in securing this 1-4 away win. Armenia were no walkover however, despite the scoreline. The home side took the lead on 6 minutes to allow for tensions to simmer though Denmark fought back with swift security and on 16 minutes Thomas Delaney opened his account in a match that would see him end up with the match-ball and a hat-trick.

From the equaliser onwards, Denmark dominated and with a flurry of goals that included and almighty free-kick from Christian Eriksen among others. A comprehensive victory for the away side and a perfect way to set up their penultimate round of fixtures. Tied third in their group and still the opportunity to top the table, it's going to be a spicy finish to Group E. Consider the countdown to Russia, very much underway.
