If there's one thing New York Red Bulls have on lock down, it's consistency. Four straight draws and doing everything under the sun but scoring, our latest 'Framed' chapter comes from Red Bull Arena as Philadelphia Union paid a visit.

Peppered 'em. That's one way of describing the steam roll of one way traffic New York Red Bulls sent as they led the charge on this game. On paper, it was one that the home side dominated from start to finish. More possession by truck loads, more shots and more momentum too. They did everything in this game though scoring seemed to be the objective where the home side couldn't close this game out.

Regardless, it's perhaps a story where the real credit lies between the sticks of the away side. Andre Blake was the star of the show having made save after save to deny the home side from swiping the spoils. A momentum showing of movement and character he not only kept his side in the game but very much earned them a shared point.

This game, although a competitive MLS fixture was one that had another in its shadow. New York Red Bulls could have fallen victim to having one eye on the U.S. Open Cup with this fixture. A game that was played last night vs Sporting Kansas City, the Red Bulls missed out on a chance for some 2017 silverware as Sporting Kansas City took home the spoils. A tale of a season of missed opportunities for the Red Bulls, there'll be lessons learnt as they look to go again once more against the Columbus Crew on the road this weekend (24th).
