With the World Cup fully in focus, Art of Football [A O F] have partnered with Nike to create 10 unique looks for six nations, further promoting football fan culture and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through up-cycling.

With a strength of quality at their heart, [A O F] have propelled themselves into the public consciousness over recent years, elevating football fan culture through the production of numerous quality collections, often utilising reworked and up cycled items. And they’ve clearly caught the eye of sportswear giants, Nike, with the pair coming together for a new partnership that sees a bespoke collection of re-worked and re-imagined Nike pieces, as well as workshops and reactive designs set to be made and sold throughout the tournament.

Inspired by the current streetwear trends, a fusion of fashion and function, the [A O F] x Nike collection is a reinvention of the 2022 kits of six nations: England, Netherlands, France, Brazil, Portugal and Croatia. Each look is created using the world cup kits and Nike faulty stock. The collection consists of effortless modern looks that can be adjusted and styled by the wearer.

Pieces within the collection make use of technical materials and functional trims that add to the versatility of the pieces. With sustainability at the forefront of the concept, all the pieces are re-made with minimal waste in mind, using the waste to make re-worked accessories or as down filling to our puffer vest. To top off the partnership, [A O F] will be doing what it does best by producing reactive designs in partnership with Nike throughout the tournament.

We wanted the collection to have a fresh, playful, feel,” explained [A O F] designer Nicole Kaminska. The aim of the designs is to celebrate the emotions around the game and the fans all around the world. Each of the looks can be styled and adjusted in various ways, making the pieces unique to the wearer.

[A O F] will take part in and host six events at NikeTown London between the 16 November and the 12 of December, including Ball and Flag Customisation, Sewing Workshops and Poster Painting.
