While we count down the days to the 2019/20 season we're taking a look back at which players have been living the good life on Instagram over SS19. There was a time when players would disappear for a month and we'd have to simply imagine them riding a quadbike around a Dubai desert at sunset, but now we're taken along for the ride, kind of. From the hills of Hollywood to las playas of Ibiza we've picked out a selection of players embracing their fashion, streetwear & culture sides this summer.

Yeah, this is a proper "modern-football-is-rubbish" list if you're so inclined, but it's also a list of players ditching the tracksuit-cladded robotics of top flight football to reveal their true personalities and interests. One of the only times of the year where players can choose where to go, what to share, and what to wear. So let's see who was wearing what.

It’s drip season before pre-season! πŸ’§

A post shared by Memphis Depay (@memphisdepay) on

Memphis Depay – Caption says it all. The king of Dutch drip.

David Alaba – The owner of one of the most diverse wardrobes in world football.

Raheem Sterling – Big season, big summer, big season, big summer. That's Raheem Sterling's life right now. Winning the treble then a summer of LA, Ibiza, magazine covers, celebrity link ups. A good 2019 for the England man.

Kevin Prince-Boateng – KPB is an ever-present in any best dressed footballer list.

A post shared by Thomas Davies (@1tomdavies) on

Tom Davies – Skateboards through Liverpool, goes vintage clothes shopping in Brooklyn, and plays football on the world's biggest stage. Tom Davies is unique. For every 500 Premier League players in Dsquared2 caps and tracksuits there's a Tom Davies making his own mark.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Another player hitting up LA, and another English Everton player with his own style. Definitely worth a follow to see how you can pull off a bucket hat.

Hector Bellerin – Only one player can walk the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week. Football's main man in fashion continues to keep things fresh.

A post shared by DeAndre Yedlin (@yedlinny) on

DeAndre Yedlin – The Newcastle United man is must follow for strong streetwear style.

Jadon Sancho – Backing up his on-pitch hype. A summer of LA, Ibiza and even featuring in Dave's official Location video. The lad is only 19. His summer was far more premium than most lads his age doing 2 weeks in Zante on a diet consisting exclusively of crips, JΓ€germeister, and nightly rejection. Good going, kid.

Tim Weah – Just a summer of walking round Paris looking fly as f**k and struggling to work out how to put on his jumpers. Tim Weah will be taking his stylised wardrobe to Lille for the new season after signing a 5-year deal.

Emre Can – The Juve man spent most of his summer in New York cafes looking dope and smashing through Candy Crush levels.

Ilkay Gundogan – Los Angles and Dubai were on Ilkay Gundogan's summer agenda. As was undoing all of the buttons on his vast collection of colourful shirts.

Ashlyn Harris – Has there ever been a more badass looking World Champion?

Banjamin Mendy – Manchester City's Senior Banter Distributor and part time full-back Ben Mendy hit up Barcelona for his summer break.

Divock Origi – His Champions League Final scoring match shirt is the cheapest item in his wardrobe.

A post shared by Karim Benzema (@karimbenzema) on

Karim Benzema – Dubai, Hollywood, NYC and the Maldives. Benzema knows how to holiday. Here he is on the phone to Ryanair trying to figure out why they're charging him an extra €8 so he can sit next to his kids. Robbing bastards is why Karim, robbing bastards.

Wilfried Zaha – Can see him, Aubameyang and Lacazette having some naughty shopping trips next season...

This could have easily been a top 50 list, but nobody has time for that do they? Who did we miss then?
