Kylian Mbappe checked out the Anderlecht pitch wearing the OFF WHITE x Nike Air VaporMax ahead of tonight's Champions League clash between the Belgians and Paris Saint-Germain. A showpiece product from the collaboration, the Air VaporMax dropped in restricted numbers with high demand.

The OFF WHITE x Nike Footwear collab features a collection of Virgil Abloh's takes on Swoosh silhouettes including, the Air Presto, Blazer Mid, Cortez, Air Max 90 and LunarEpic Flyknit, all of which feature stripped down designs as seen on the Air VaporMax. Mbappe has leant on his Nike contacts to bag the triple black silhouette to give a stylish finish to that all-black Nike PSG tracksuit.

Footballers' sneaker game is hands-down more competitive than their boot game with players seeking out limited edition runs and bespoke creativity, and Mbappe has ensured that he's wearing one of the hottest drops of 2017 by lacing up in a shoe with exposed stitching, Air branding and reengineered tongue.

The hype for this silhouette has been super strong with rumours back in the summer that they were set to drop on September 1. That date has been and gone without a drop, which has only built further anticipation, so don't expect these to be an easy checkout. A guaranteed immediate sell-out, for sure.

The theme throughout Virgil’s unique branding is to call out Nike’s Portland, Oregon roots, with oversized Swoosh branding – prominent on the instep of the Nike Air VaporMax worn by Mbappe. The fact that they follow a similar colourway to the sellout ‘Triple Black’ VaporMax further heightens its desirability. In demand. If you ain't got hook-ups like Mbappe, you could be struggling.
