Mixing fresh shapes with Predator patterns adidas reveal plans for their next soccer-inspired sneaker silhouette. Expected to drop in July, the "Sobakov" shoe borrows the famous stripes from the Predator Precision football boot, and that's enough for you to need a pair.

Those instantly recognisable thin-to-thick three stripes bring on strong nostalgia vibes from the year 2000. A post-Accelerator, pre-Mania era where the Predator Precision was worn by the likes of David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. Digging deep into their exquisite archives, adidas have dusted them off and slapped them on a street-ready series.

In a solid case of less-is-more, adidas have placed the white stripes on a black knit upper and a chunky gum sole to create a stylish introductory design. Lashing of leather wrap around the tongue and heel areas to round off a shoe that shares similarities with the recent adidas Kamanda design. Predator meets Samba meets street. Yes please.
