Continuing the impressive drip of Asian flavour, Nike release the Air Presto with a bold South Korean makeover that ties it in with the white tiger theme of the away kit and wider collection. It sees the sneaker wrapped in that now familiar monochromatic tiger stripe pattern, and it’s joined by pops of the national colours.

Nike chose South Korea as their latest canvas for creativity recently, and so far they haven’t failed to disappoint, delivering a collection of the most vivid and vibrant releases we’ve seen since the Nigeria drop of 2018. So far the collection has seen an Air Max 95 and a wider set of apparel dropping alongside the new home and away kits, and now the latest release comes in the form of the Air Presto.

For the Air Presto ‘South Korea’ Nike utilise the classic construction of the “t-shirt for your feet”, adding the white tiger striped pattern on the neoprene upper for a look not too dissimilar to the recently released ‘South Korea’ Mercurial Superfly VII. A more direct connection to South Korea than the striped aesthetic is then made through the  “red/royal” colouring of the mid foot cage, where the two colours join at the centre of the heal, finished off by the nation’s Taegeukgi symbol.
