Konami have pinched Juventus from EA Sports by securing an initial three-year partnership with the reigning Serie A Champions. Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 will have exclusive use of Juventus with it comes to football video games, meaning that Juve will be called 'Piemonte Calcio' on FIFA 20.

PES 2020 will also be able to use the Juventus logo and Allianz Stadium whereas FIFA 20 will have to dump them in Ivy Lane, if that's still a ground? Anyway, what it also means is that Cristiano Ronaldo (cover star of FIFA 19), along with 16 of his Juve teammates, will have their likeness added to the game for the first time. Additionally, Pavel Nedved will also appear on the game as a legend player. And his flowing golden locks look predictably glorious in HD.

This means that the Juve players are more precise than ever before, from their facial expressions to their tattoos. Even Miralem Pjanić despite looking like he's wired off his f*****g face and ready to fight you for stealing his stash. In short, FIFA 20 will have to guess what they look like, while PES 2020 will use full-body 3D scans. The trailer which celebrates the news also showcases a few new features including a new and improved first touch technology, and a nice little look at the latest boot colourways in digital form.

In other gaming news, EA Sports have just announced a partnership with Liverpool FC which sees the franchise become the club’s official video game partner.
