Completing the trilogy, adidas launch the final instalment of their ‘Fabric of Football’ series, and this time the focus is on Manchester United. Titled ‘Belief’, it looks at what makes up the unique DNA of the club through the voices of those at its heart: academy players, fans, first team players and staff.

The ‘Fabric of Football’ is a three-part short film series from adidas, and it focuses on some of the world’s biggest clubs. Episode one highlighted the philosophy and winning mentality of Real Madrid and the way that it has been ingrained into their new 2019/20 home shirt, while episode two followed suit, switching focus to Arsenal to celebrate the identity and unique values of the North London club. Now it’s the turn of Manchester United.

Episode three once again sees contributions from club legends, current players and academy prospects, with the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Scott McTominay, Lee O'Connor and Nicky Butt recounting their memories of everything from breaking into the academy through to pulling on the first team jersey. As the Premier League gets underway for the 2019/20 season in what is a landmark year for the club, in which they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their famous 1999 treble winning season, the episode looks at what makes the United kit so important, telling the individual's stories and celebrating what makes them who they are.
