Leroy Sané has been given the nod to front Nike's first ever Just Do It campaign in Germany. The film, titled “Helden” is directed by John Hillcoat, and celebrates German athletes working hard on and off the pitch and track and in their communities to push society forward.

Manchester City forward Sané leads a new generation of German athletes, as they go beyond winning to pave the way for others. Joined by Paralympic athlete Léon Schäfer and boxer Zeina Nassar, Sané front the message; “Du tust es nie nur für dich” (“You never do it just for yourself”) in a celebration of sport’s incredible power to unite people and a call to all athletes, inspiring them to go beyond medals and trophies and to become heroes themselves.

The powerful film is played out to "Helden" by David Bowie and sees the athletes and aspiring professionals used Bowie's original vocals to narrate the video. The film delivers an inspirational message to the next generation of talent and echoes the stories of Léon Schäfer who raced against all odds, physically and mentally, and female boxer lZeina Nassar who fights in a hijab, not just doing it for herself, but for a generation of girls daring to go after their dreams.
