While the world navigates negative conditions, Nike have embraced a level of optimism that has become most welcome across social media. The launch of The Living Room Cup, unveiled by Cristiano Ronaldo sees athletes from the brand's stable set challenges for those at home to take aim at.

Dubbed a 'digital workout series', it was kicked off by Ronaldo through instagram on Sunday 5th April. Ronaldo will give his followers one week to beat his best mark, then he'll pass the competition over to the next athlete for a new challenge. Dedicated workouts to help provide a competitive advantage during each week’s challenge will be made available on the Nike Training Club app. Players can share their results on their Instagram profiles using the hashtags #playinside and #thelivingroomcup.

The challenge comes with a friendly level of competitiveness, encouraging those who take it up to not only share it but better their performance in the process. Off the back of the Ronaldo challenge, we've seen a number of other players go the distance, including Vinicius Jr., Erling Haaland, and Harvey Elliott.
