Following a short but eventful period with New Balance, AS Roma and adidas are once again working together thanks to a partnership that will see the brand kit out every Roma team (men, women, youth and Esports) from the 2023-24 season onwards.

New Balance took the Roma reigns from Nike back in 2021, providing kits to the Serie A side from the 21/22 season for the following two years. But despite that brief spell seeing some great success, both in terms of the kits produced and on the pitch, with the Giallorossi picking up their first ever major European trophy and making the final of another, that partnership has not been renewed, and instead Adidas have swooped back in to pick up the contract, renewing a relationship that dates back to 1978, when the Three Stripes first appeared on a Roma shirt.

Further iconic kits were produced through the early 90s, when the brand and club partnered from 1991 to 1994, a period in which some of the most popular Roma kits of all time getting released. Now, adidas and Roma are set to renew their partnership, and with adidas currently putting out some of the best kits in the game and Roma having such a strong heritage and visual identity to draw upon, hopes are high for what’s to come.
