Have some of this. New Balance crank up the Liverpool 125th anniversary celebrations with another iconic kit from another famous part of the club's illustrious history. Taking inspiration from the founding jersey worn in 1982, the 2017/18 Liverpool away shirt is the throwback of all throwbacks.

Iterations of the first famous blue and white quartered pattern have featured on Liverpool away shirts throughout the decades, and the pattern returns for the first time in New Balance's era. The Bottle Green and White colour palette was first seen on the 1991/92 away strip and was a notable theme of the 1995 away kit. Any throwback design that's not plain is a win for us. Not everyone is gonna like it, but that means New Balance are taking risks and that keeps football fresh in our book.

Some description

As with the 2017/18 home strip, the new away kit sports a pin stripe design within the quarter design and the special 125th anniversary crest. Further detailing of the 96 emblem commemorates the tragic events of Hillsborough, encased by the eternal flames sits at the nape of the neck. The kit is completed by black shorts and white socks with a green horizontal stripe and black trim. Big year for the Redmen.
