Major League Soccer shows off its support for the armed forces, as adidas roll out camo warm-up jerseys for every team. The jerseys are set to be worn ahead of Military Appreciation matches, which will be played through the weekend of August 10th.
MLS franchises are well versed in coming together in celebration or support of specific causes and events. Following up the recent Independence Day and Pride warm-up jerseys, adidas have now released a full collection of camo jerseys in celebration of Military Appreciation. As with past releases, the jerseys take on a uniform nature, in this case the green camouflage base, and it’s then accented by gold detailing of the specific teams’ club crest and sponsor.
Philadelphia Union were first out of the blocks to show off their new pre-match jersey, but now the rest of the collection has been released for the world to see. Or indeed not, depending on where they are, ‘coz, you know, camo… Accompanying the jerseys are a range of caps, including 39THIRTY flex hats and 9TWENTY adjustable hats, all decked out in similar stylings to the jerseys.
