Completing the Toon’s get-up for the coming campaign, Newcastle unveil their new away and third shirts from PUMA for the 20/21 season, and they see two eye-catchingly colourful designs landing in contrast to the standard black and white of the home shirt.

Where the design for the Newcastle 20/21 home shirt could be accused of being a little unoriginal and uninventive, the new away and third shirts more than make up for it, unleashing bright colours and bold graphics across two bespoke designs. They’re launched under the banner ‘Crafted by Culture’, and this motto serves as the inspiration for all three of Newcastle United’s kits. Yep, including the home shirt.

Newcastle's away shirt reverts to a popular yellow colourway for the first time since the 2013/14 season, with a patterned 'fizzy yellow' shirt offset by a dark 'peacoat' blue stripe across the shoulders. It’s inspired by urban football culture, which forms a huge part of the city itself.

The club's new third shirt focuses on the city’s passion for art, music and fashion. The design features a prism-violet triangular pattern, which has been modelled on the steelwork of the famous Tyne Bridge. It is completed with a club crest and sponsor branding in the same fizzy yellow tone as the away, lending a nice synergy to the designs.

Both shirts will be available from Monday 17 August at prodirectsoccer.com
