Following the launch of its new crest, FC Internazionale Milano and Nike release the I M Collection, which includes a Special Jersey, the first to feature the new visual identity of the Club. The collection's pieces are brought together by a blocked, geometrically-dazzling interpretation of the Nerazzurri stripes.

Inter revealed their new club crest and visual identity recently, and now it’s followed up by the I M Collection – the first to feature that new crest. And chief among the collection is the club’s new jersey, which features an arrangement of shapes down the body, from the bleach-like prints on the chest to the more understated use of stripes, circles and grids, divided through bold proportions for an unmistakable presence. The aesthetics of the new shirt are inspired by the visionary attitude of one of the club's founders, the futurist artist Giorgio Muggiani.

Reports are suggesting that Inter are seeking permission to wear the shirt in a Serie A fixture, although nothing official has been announced on that point as of yet, however, it will definitely be available on FIFA21 Ultimate Team from 10 April.

As well as being special for being the first Nike Capsule Collection to feature the new Inter visual identity, the shirt also takes on something of a bittersweet note, with the realisation that this is likely to be the last Inter shirt to feature the iconic Pirelli sponsor.

Along with the Special Jersey, the collection features a tracksuit and a long pant, both in the men's and women's versions and a short-sleeved tee. The collection also includes a short-sleeve T-shirt detailed with a halved, blue-striped pattern over a white base, and a tracksuit and long pant, arriving in both men and women’s sizing.

To celebrate this launch, Nike invited graphic designers Dee Mo and Moab Villain, two of the most followed artists in the Milanese creative-cultural scene and true masters of reinvention, to produce original artwork inspired by the history and design of the shirt.

Speaking on the project, the artists said: "Neither of us was born in Milan, yet we represent, each in our own way, the current creative ferment of this city. The four-handed realisation of this project has triggered an unprecedented, intergenerational conversation, in which we verified the existence of many visual references in common, revisiting and reinventing some of the cornerstones of the history of Milanese design.
