Benfica will be out with a point to prove next season after finishing in third place in the Portuguese Premiera Liga last season, behind rivals Sporting Lisbon and Porto. Refreshed and re-energised over the summer, Benfica will kick things off in their new adidas kits next month.

The Three Stripes have delivered two clean designs for the Benfica home and away jerseys for the 2021/22 season. The home shirt arrives in that traditional bright red club colour with crisp white detailing on the stripes and sleeves, while the away shirt opts for a pristine white delivery with the home colours tied in on the sleeves and shoulders, finished by a monochrome club crest.

We've said it time and time again but the role a sponsor plays in the success of a kit cannot be undervalued. Stick an ugly logo with a colour scheme that clashes with the kit and you're undoing all the brand's good work (See Chevrolet + Manchester United) and Benfica have been sorted out by Fly Emirates once again.

Ok, they might sponsor 84% of all football clubs on the planet, but you can't knock their clean logo and acceptance of switching colours to complement the kit design. Good lads.
