Stylish colour-up launched across all evoSPEED 1.2 models

PUMA's recent headlines might have been dominated by the launch of the evoPOWER but now the popular evoSPEED makes another splash with the launch of the new White/Peach/Blue colour-up given to the synthetic, leather and SL models.

Launched in December 2013, the evoSPEED 1.2 SL is PUMA's latest take on super-lightweight speed. Weighing a mere 160g, the SL takes new measurements to ensure a sleeker, more dynamic profile with a perforated upper made from Japanese microfibre synthetic. The model returns for its first colour-up of 2014, delivered in line with the standard synthetic and leather editions.

The new slick paint-job is delivered in a white upper, accented with peach colouring across the PUMA form stripe and branding. For the SL model, the perforated upper allows for a reduced weight, while the sole-plate uses a combination of nylon and pebax and is fitted with a bespoke traction stud system.

For the standard model it's business as usual - still with a choice of leather or synthetic uppers. The super soft k-leather upper is one of the lightest firm ground leather football boots available whilst the synthetic upper features PUMA GripTex, a 3D transparent print which delivers extra grip to improve touch in wet conditions.

The evoSPEED 1.2 enjoys an impressive stable of players most notably in the Premier League where the boots are worn by Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla and Southampton captain Adam Lallana. Watch out for the boots across European pitches beginning this weekend.
