adidas' Boost technology makes its football breakthrough with the Freefootball Boost Messi.
If you’ve got your fitness footwear game in order, chances are you’re aware of adidas’ latest and greatest cushioning innovation. Boost technology has been killing it on the running circuit since its initial launch back in February 2013, and now adidas have unveiled its first football offering in the shape of the "Black/Granite/Power Red" adidas Freefootball Messi Boost. The technology has given way to a series of performance and style-driven lightweight offerings that put Boost technology on full display.
Carrying that forward, the adidas Freefootball Messi Boost arrives with a minimalist design built on a layer of Boost foam designed to absorb impact and offer power return on hard surfaces. The upper is combination of a synthetic leather forefoot with highly abrasion-resistant synthetic suede overlay, along with a mesh rear-quarter which is home to Messi's signature logo on the heel.
