No revolution is complete without a leader. While adidas have installed chaos and control as the future of football, they've reserved special treatment for a player that sits above those categories. Messi transcends both chaos and control to receive the Messi15.

Ahead of the 2015 Champions League Final adidas have created a boot designed exclusively for Messi. For any other player, the claims from adidas of someone that “can’t be defined because he transcends the game,” would seem like marketing fluff. For Barcelona’s #10, it feels completely justified.

While many already hail Messi as the greatest of all time, few take the time to realise that his ridiculously impressive legacy still has time to spare and a wealth of accomplishments yet to be achieved. In 2015 alone, Messi is looking to bring home his third major trophy for his beloved Barcelona and add a fourth Champions League medal to his silverware cabinet.

Some description

The MESSI15 has been created specifically with Messi in order to give him the perfect aid in his pursuit of further success. Adorning the upper is a new MessiTOUCH material that is meant to give “lethal grip, stability, and foot-fitting comfort.” The continued shift from the Traxion outsole is seen with the new MessiFRAME to give the highest level of traction and stability while aiding the upper in providing a totally locked-in fit. The soleplate has no end to tech updates, with adidas saying “the messiPRINT offers new, round forefoot studs, which, alongside the messiGAMBETRAX, combine to provide a dynamic stud configuration and outsole that delivers explosive movement.”

Whatever you think of the MESSI15 it's hard to argue with a boot designed by and for the world's greatest player. Messi will wear them for the first time in the UEFA Champions League Final in Berlin on Saturday 6th June when he'll lead the adidas revolution into battle as Barcelona take on Juventus.

The adidas MESSI15 is available to pre-order at select online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer for a July 01 drop. What you thinking? Drop your comments below.
