Under Armour have made a swift switch in their boot line-up as the Spotlight replaced the Speedform ahead of the 2016/17 season. Dropping as the lead on-pitch colourway for the brand's pool of athletes including Memphis Depay, the Spotlight is wrapped in "Rocket Red" as it embarks on a new adventure of speed.

A bold look for the updated silo that carries Under Armour's lightweight baton into the new campaign. The smooth design of the Speedform is interrupted by new supporting technology to create an aesthetic that feels somewhere between the Blur Carbon and Speedform, the brand's previous two speed boots.

Some description

The seamless anatomical heel-cup remains from the Speedform, a standout feature taken from the brand's running collection for cushioned fit and comfort. Other specifications include a secondary stretch construction for enhanced ball control and asymmetrical composite textile and moulded support to provide lateral stability. A soleplate reminiscent of the Speedform takes place with its internal traction enhancement for a moulded fit around the toes.
