A brand on top of their game, adidas set a high bar in 2016 and if their first release of 2017 is anything to go by, there’s a lot more left in the locker. The “Chequered Black” collection kicks off the new year in the most devastating of styles. Bar well and truly set.

While the ACE 17+ Purecontrol “Chequered Black” features the updated neoprene collar for the first time, the ACE 17.1 model remains in full 2017 mode following the “Red Limit” launch colourway. Boasting the same elegant chequered detailing as the laceless Purecontrol model, the 17.1 is every bit as stylish in the punch with an all black upper and metallic three stripes.

Some description

With the ACE 17.1 Primeknit built for those who still like a bit of lace on their ACE, the other biggest difference between the 17.1 Primeknit and the Purecontrol lies under the hood of the boot. Whereas the Purecontrol includes the introduction of BOOST technology in the sole, the ACE 17.1 Primeknit does not. A standard insole and Sprintframe outsole provide the traction and comfort.
