When adidas announce that they're dropping limited edition Predator re-releases for David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane, you stop what you're doing and begin to form an orderly queue. Marking a monumental year with royal recognition, adidas unveil the '25 Years of Predator' pack with a little help from two of the brand's most legendary players.

Yep, if there are two words that instantly trigger sold out signs it's "Predator" and "Re-release". Throw in the fact this is the 25th anniversary since the launch of the iconic silo, oh and these are limited edition versions of Beckham and Zidane's most heralded Accelerator and Precision colourways and we're looking at the most hyped pound for pound drop of 2019. No contest.

The headliners from the collection are the re-creations of two of the most iconic Predator colourways – Zidane’s 1998 Predator Accelerators and Beckham’s 2001 Precision Predators. The respective player Archive Packs also see the introduction of two TR silos which complement the on-pitch designs, and a range of apparel marked with Beckham and Zidane nods throughout.

Zidane’s ’98 Accelerators have been given a refreshed look and pay homage to his Ballon d’Or success in 1998 with a gold K-leather upper with blue, red and white features and a choice of gold, navy, white and red laces.

The David Beckham Archive Pack features a new version of the Predator Precision he wore in 2001. They feature an all-white K-leather upper and the iconic red tongue. The Precision comes with two sets of laces; white and red.

Both Archive Packs also include a jersey, shirt and pant that throwback to the Real Madrid 2003/2004 strip, when both Beckham and Zidane played at the same time for the club. Each football boot works as closely as possible to replicate the upper of the original Precision and Accelerator with the exact rubber shooting fins technology, colourways and stripes. The key tech difference is the soleplate, which uses the Predator 19+ set-up. Needless to say both boots drop as part of the adidas Limited Collection, in restricted, but unconfirmed numbers.
