Arriving just in time for the start of the season, Nike launch the ‘Motivation Pack’, giving bright new colourways to their three-silo setup of Mercurial Vapor 14 and Superfly 8, Phantom GT, and Tiempo Legend 9.
Nike have been busy ahead of the new season, with the Olympics giving us the ‘Rawdacious Pack’ and that release being preceded by the blackout ‘Renew Pack’, providing plenty of choice for preseason and beyond. Well now you can add another option to that, with the Swoosh dropping the ‘Motivation Pack’, offering up further colourful updates to its roster with the idea being the literal excitement and motivation that the new season – and a new pair of boots to go with it – brings.
First up is the Tiempo Legend 9, which, despite only dropping at the beginning of July, arrives in its fourth colourway, following the previously mentioned ‘Rawdacious’ and ‘Renew Pack’ looks and the special edition 'Focus' drop.
For the ‘Motivation Pack’ it’s a white base similar to that of the ‘Rawdacious Pack’ colourway, but that white only covers the front two thirds of the boot, with a “Bright Crimson” colour dominating the heel, while the Swoosh stands out in a “Volt” colour that’s bordered by black, wrapping around from heel to forefoot in traditional Tiempo style.
That colourway carriers across for the Mercurial Vapor 14 and Superfly 8, which sees “Volt” as the dominant colour, with the “Bright Crimson” popping through the offset Swoosh and internal panels, flashing through the almost translucent upper. Black accents then provide added definition to the all-round design.
Then the Phantom GT II takes on a look that’s more in keeping with the Tiempo, with the white base joined by strong “Bright Crimson” and “Volt” panels on the lower half of the upper. As with the Tiempo, this is a next-gen boot, and the ‘Motivation Pack’ colourway its third look since its low-key launch as part of the ‘Renew Pack’.
An important point of difference for the ‘Motivation Pack’ is that all boots are available in both firm ground and soft ground, unlike the ‘Rawdacious’ and ‘Renew’ packs. So for those looking ahead to some Swoosh style for the inevitable wetter months to come, this pack could well be it.
