Doing its part in the battle against ocean plastic waste, adidas launch the adidas Football x Parley Boot Pack – the first ever to be made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. It sees the Predator Accuracy, X Speedportal and COPA Pure all built from re-imagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean.

Adidas and Parley for the Oceans have been working together since 2015, and over the years the partnership has produced a whole raft of products, created from recovered plastic waste from the world’s oceans. While most of the items created have been jerseys, clothing and other apparel, the brand have also made strides in the footwear department, particularly wit the UltraBoost. Now the adidas x Parley collaboration takes a brave and bold step further, with the introduction of a pack that includes all of the Three Stripes’ key boot franchises – Predator Accuracy, X Speedportal and Copa Pure – created using Parley plastics, strengthening adidas’ commitment to contributing to help reduce plastic waste.

The pack arrives in stunning lucid blue and white colourways (officially called "White/Grey Two/Preloved Blue"), with elegant and subtle wave-patterned designs covering the uppers, picked up straight off of the Parley UltraBoost DNA, which dropped back in April 2020. It’s a look that we’ve already caught a sneak peak of, with Jude Bellingham and Weston McKennie both wearing the Predator Accuracy from the pack, and Gio Reyna wearing the X Speedportal in their respective fixtures over this past weekend.

While not the solution for saving our oceans, the innovation represents the brand's commitment towards replacing virgin polyester with recycled solutions by 2024 wherever possible
