Offering up a glimpse of… well, the Future, actually, PUMA have revealed the all-new Future 7 FTR, a hype drop ahead of the official launch of the next generation boot.

The PUMA Future has long since established itself as a core silo in PUMA’s staple, and now the German brand reveals its annual update for the playmaker’s boot with the release of the Future 7 FTR – a limited, early edition take on the next-generation FUTURE. It boasts three key tech improvements: a completely revamped FUZIONFIT360 system with revised PWRTAPE and PWRPRINT positioning to lock the foot in like never before.

The three big changes from the previous iteration are the PWRTAPE, which now comes in the shape of a Y instead of the previous zig zag; PWRPRINT – the textured dots on the instep of the boot, which has different levels of thickness to provide more stability or flexibility in key areas; finally, there’s the completely revamped FUZIONFIT360 system, which is highlighted through the chrome soleplate.

The Future 7 FTR is presented in a “Club Navy/Loveable/Cobalt Glaze/Matte Puma Gold” colourway and will likely be worn by some of PUMA’s top athletes in the coming weeks, ahead of the wider launch, due in the new year.
