Gearing up for the campaign to come, adidas Launch the Nativo 21, official match ball for the 2021 Major League Soccer season, which is set to start on 3 April.
The release of a new ball is always a clear sign that the new season is on the way, and so it is that Major League Soccer and adidas unveil the Nativo 21, official match ball for the 2021 season. Unlike last seasonโs Nativo XXV, which featured a design that celebrated the 25th anniversary of Major League Soccer, the Nativo 21 reverts to a more traditional colour combination of red, white and blue.
The design features large grey US and Canadian-inspired graphic elements on the crisp white upper. They are joined by a new addition for the season, with every competing city being written across the ball.ย
From a tech perspective, the Nativo 21 is the same top-level model that adidas have been using since the 2018 World Cup. It is made from 100 percent water-based materials and print colours, making it adidasโ most sustainable ball to date. Additionally, the unique 'Hi-White' material used for the ball allows for better visibility on the field for players.
