The 2015 Champions League Final saw us fly out to the German capital for an adrenaline, football fuelled 48 hours with adidas as they celebrated a new era of football design by hosting a headline event of epic proportions. Converting a Berlin warehouse into an electrifying footballing nightclub, the adidas Base was the hottest place to be on UCL Final weekend and here's how it went down...

Buzzing with pulsating DJ sets, the latest product innovations and the most influential names from the Berlin freestyle scene the adidas Berlin Base welcomed Zinedine Zidane, Mesut Özil and Ander Herrera to lace up in their off the scale arena watched over by terraces of strobe lights, speakers and a capacity crowd.

Berlin is littered with culture at each turn, every building on every street is a canvas of art and graffiti and adidas left their own stamp on the city by injecting their football footwear revolution right into the heart of Berlin and the Champions League Final. X and ACE were both on the scoresheet for adidas through Ivan Rakitic, Alvaro Morata and Luis Suarez to cap an intense weekend of huge beats and no sleep.

Leaving a legacy behind the Berlin Base is a permanent football centre, designed by the kids of Berlin for the kids of Berlin, offering free games of football every day of the week. For us, we're done, we'll leave it in capable hands as we fly home with nothing more than bleary eyes and a footballing hangover.
