Bringing an on and off pitch party to proceedings, adidas launched their Moscow Creator Base on the first day of the World Cup. Opened by Jose Mourinho and closed by Russian rapper Pharaoh, day one of this tournament was given a creative lick thanks to those solid three stripes.

Providing the people with a hub for the tournament, the adidas Moscow Creator Base has bespoke threads running throughout. The Tango pitch sits in the middle of the party, taking over the Moscow Museum of Art. The space will open to the public for the duration of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and was kicked off by Jose Mourinho as he met some of the Tango teams battling it out in the tournament. Taking the stage and answering questions, he gave an insight into his thoughts on the World Cup and the excitement around it.

Once the Tango tournament was concluded, the pitch was transformed into a viewing area and from the opening ceremony to the final whistle, the place was brought to life as the ultimate place in Moscow to watch a match. Every game will be shown here so consider it a place to mark on the map.

Hitting the heights and bringing music into the mix, the opening day was closed off by Russian rapper Pharaoh. This is a guy that embodies Russia's new wave of creative culture. A pin up for the next generation with a strong look and a sharp sound, he's an example of how Russia are influencing sub-cultures through original thinking.
