adidas SPZL Takes Its Archive to the Skatepark for AW26

Football lads and skaters have always had adidas in common, so much as they wear the brand and make it their own.

So Gary Aspden’s adidas SPZL line turning up to the skatepark for its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection is far from a plot twist. That said, the cast is stacked: Riley Hawk, Dennis Busenitz, Vincent Milou, Shin Sanbongi and Lawrence Ravail, all arrive alongside Blondey McCoy who already has an SPZL collab on his own CV.

The rest bring the fresh legs to a range mining the 1970s and 1980s. The campaign is all movement, which makes sense: these are clothes built to be worn hard.

The 12-piece apparel run is fronted by the Springvale Parka and the EcclesHLL Smock (two colourways), with the Baxenden Hood, Cardington Vest, Turncroft TT and Bellshill SPZL Halfzip in support. Think olive strata, cargo, burnt sienna and aurora ink. Earthy, but not the usual winter wardrobe of everything black.

Footwear is where it gets silly good. Six pairs, including the Hawaii SPZL in Emperador brown and shadow green. The Halewood SPZL is a reworked vintage squash shoe in picante orange suede with navy stripes, while the Boston II Outdoor SPZL gives a classic runner an adi-Tex membrane. Then there’s the new Wetherlam SPZL hybrid hiker and the Albrecht II SPZL brings a leisure-shoe shape in wild brown.

Accessories are sorted too: a dark brown Standish SPZL bag, Fleetwith SPZL gloves, a Wetherlam beanie and Mod SPZL socks. The Lingmoor SPZL cap has Climastorm tech, which you’ll be grateful for around the 70th minute of a soaking Tuesday night.

Bottom line: if your weekend involves a train, a turnstile and three hours in the cold, this one’s got you covered and it lands on 6 November.
