The World Cup's over and it's now time to reflect on how the rival football boots performed. Despite the adiZero's dominance, after all was said and done there was just one goal seperating Nike and adidas at the tournament, but which brand scored the most goals at the 2010 FIFA World Cup...
For football boots fans the World Cup provided many great highlights. There was the goal scoring exploits of players wearing the new adidas adiZero's, such as David Villa, Diego Forlan and Thomas Mueller. So who won the big battle of the brands? With only one goal in it, this one was not so obvious. Taking into account every single goal scored at the World Cup, adidas leads the way with a total of 63 goals, incredibly just pipping Nike by one goal who mustered 62 goals from all their combined boot silo's.
