Coming somewhat out of the blue, PUMA have today announced the capture of Man City’s Spanish playmaker, David Silva. It's another boon for PUMA who have been on something of a recruitment drive over the last few months.

Silva will now be looking to add to his current tally of 50 Premier League goals and 77 assists in the PUMA ONE, joining teammate and beneficiary of so much of his good work, Sergio Aguero, in the silo.

Renowned for having one of the best touches in the Premier League, it's no surprise to see Silva opt for the ONE, a boot designed to enhance touch. From a marketing perspective, it's the perfect pairing for PUMA and they couldn't ask for a better ambassador to promote the attributes of the ONE.

Silva is the latest star name to sign for the Big Cat in the last few months, following players such as Luis Suarez, Romelu Lukaku and more recently, Dejan Lovren. But whereas Lovren comes in as a powerhouse, Silva is undoubtedly all about finesse. It’s a strong addition to the ranks for PUMA and yet another indicator of their intent this season.
