LEGO Serves up a Special for the Kids With New Collab Collection With Nike

Two absolute powerhouses have come together ahead of the World Cup, with Nike and LEGO teaming up for a collection purely for kids.

LEGO have been absolutely smashing it in the build up to the World Cup, from special collector’s edition models to creating LEGO versions of some of the most iconic players in the game today. But they’re not done yet. Tapping into the very fabric of football culture, they’ve now partnered with Nike for a special collection for kids. But within that, we also get incredible LEGO versions of some of Nike’s most iconic TV ads. It honestly doesn’t get much better than this.

And the product itself? It absolutely delivers on that promise. At the centre of things is a rework of some of Nike’s most recognisable football silhouettes, all given that unmistakable LEGO twist. The Jr. Mercurial Vapor leans into speed, but it’s the panther-inspired brick graphics that really catch the eye. Then you’ve got the Jr. Tiempo Streetgato, which feels just as at home on the playground as it does on the pitch, mixing indoor performance with loud, brick-heavy designs and metallic pops.

The apparel side of the drop goes just as hard. Aero-FIT jerseys and shorts are loaded with personality, featuring jaguar and poison dart frog-inspired graphics built entirely out of LEGO-style patterns. It’s chaotic in the best way possible. Look closer and there are loads of clever details too, from iridescent badges to subtle nods to LEGO minifigures. Even the goalkeeper hasn’t been left out, with a ‘Hollywood Keepers’ jersey that basically turns young shot-stoppers into a literal brick wall. OK, maybe not, but couldn’t pass up that pun.

The collection stretches into lifestyle territory as well, with two Air Max 95s that feel like they’ve been pulled straight from a LEGO box explosion.

But honestly, one of the coolest parts of this whole collaboration sits beyond the clothing. As mentioned, Nike and LEGO have gone back into the archives and rebuilt some of the most iconic football ads of all time – think "Airport", "The Mission", "Good vs Evil" – entirely in LEGO form. Minifigures step into the boots of legends, recreating those moments with a playful twist that somehow feels both nostalgic and completely fresh.

It all ties back to a really simple idea: football should be fun. Not just competitive, not just serious – fun, expressive, and a little bit chaotic. And that’s exactly what this collaboration captures. For kids especially, it’s an open invitation to play, create and imagine, whether that’s through what they wear or how they see the game.

Nike and LEGO linking up always felt like it could be big. Turns out, it’s even better than I hoped.
