The 2026 World Cup is set to be the biggest and boldest yet, with more nations – and therefore more players – than ever before taking to pitches across Mexico, the United States and Canada. Here, we round up the boots that will be on display from the game’s biggest brands.

At any major tournament, the battle between brands is almost as compelling as the action on the pitch (especially in the early group stages), with each looking to outshine the others. One of the key arenas for that competition is footwear. Designed for maximum visibility on the field, boots play a crucial role in brand identity.

Now that all the major players have unveiled their tournament packs, a clear trend has emerged in the colourways set to dominate. Nike, adidas and New Balance have opted for variations of pink as their primary colour, while PUMA and Skechers also lean into similar territory, incorporating pink hues into the neon looks they’ve chosen. So why are they all so similar? A mixture of coincidence, maximum on-pitch visibility, and matching the vibe of the host nations.

So, from the Nike Breakout Pack and adidas Road To Glory Pack to PUMA Showtime, Skechers Sunset and Mizuno Prism White, and with some special edition and signature options, these are the boots set to be on show this summer.

NIKE BREAKOUT PACK

The big talking point of the Nike Breakout Pack is the split of the Mercurial Vapor and Superfly into two clearly defined boots – the first time that's happened since 2018. Mercurial Vapor 17 is the stripped-back one: low, quick, direct. Mercurial Superfly 11 is the loaded speed story, built around underfoot snap rather than just a collar difference. Phantom brings grip and precision, while Tiempo Maestro breaks out of the safe mould its held for well over decade for what is its first tournament back as a creators boot.

Key athletes:

Mercurial Superfly 11: Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal): Kylian Mbappé (France); Alphonso Davies, (Canada); Marcus Rashford (England)

Mercurial Vapor 17: Vinícius Júnior (Brazil)

Phantom 6 Low: Erling Haaland (Norway); Raúl Jiménez (Mexico); Hwang Hee-Chan (South Korea)

Tiempo Maestro: Jamal Musiala (Germany); Estêvão (Brazil)

ADIDAS ROAD TO GLORY PACK

The Road to Glory pack sees the Predator, F50 and COPA brought together through a vibrant "Solar Red" base, complemented by black detailing and gold accents inspired by the iconic FIFA World Cup Trophy. Probably the biggest talking point around this drop is the fact it's the the first time ever that the FIFA World Cup trophy is featured across a boot pack, with it appearing on the heel counter of each model.

Key athletes:

Predator 26 FT: Jude Bellingham (England); Pedri (Spain); Jonathan David (Canada)

F50 HYPERFAST Laceless: Lamine Yamal (Spain); Son Heung-min (South Korea); Gio Reyna (U.S.)

F50 HYPERFAST: Ousmane Dembélé (France): Julián Alvarez (Argentina); Gilberto Mora (Mexico)

Copa Pure 4: Declan Rice (England)

PUMA SHOWTIME PACK

The PUMA Showtime pack sees the Future 9, Ultra 6, and King 20 all arriving in bold, tropical-inspired designs. Each model features mismatched left and right boots, continuing a signature aesthetic that traces back over a decade, inspired by the brand's iconic 2014 “Tricks” pack.

Key athletes:

Future 9: Neymar Jr. (Brazil); Kai Havertz (Germany); Morgan Rogers (England); Weston McKennie (U.S.)

Ultra 6: Memphis Depay (The Netherlands); Cody Gakpo (The Netherlands)

NEW BALANCE PURE AMBITION PACK

The Pure Ambition Pack is all about how elite players interpret speed, control and craft on their own terms – on the pitch, in their game, and in the moments that matter most. Released back in March, the Furon v8 and Tekela v5 have already been doing bits on pitch for the close of the 25/26 season, and now focus will be on the World Cup. The pack is completed by the 442 v3.

Key athletes:

Furon v8: Timothy Weah (U.S.); Eberechi Eze (England); Yan Diomande (Côte d’Ivoire); Djed Spence (England)

Tekela v5: Endrick (Brazil)

SKECHERS SUNSET PACK

The new boys on the scene, relatively speaking, this will be Skechers first men’s World Cup and they’ll be out to prove themselves worthy. The aesthetics they’ve gone for across both the SKX_2 and Razor 2 lean into a Los Angeles dusk look.

Key athletes:

SKX_2: Harry Kane (England); Romeo Vermant (Belgium)

Razor 2: Anthony Elanga (Sweden); Barış Alper Yılmaz (Türkiye)

MIZUNO PRISM WHITE PACK

Clean white base, flashes of Lava Orange, hits of Evening Primrose… The Mizuno White Prism pack is bright, bold, and unapologetically eye-catching without losing that classic Mizuno elegance.

Key athletes:

Alpha III: Maxence Lacroix (France)

Morelia Neo Beta V: Maya Yoshida (Japan)

NEW BALANCE X STONE ISLAND

The New Balance x Stone Island set pulls from 90s football culture, but in a way that feels more “archive re-engineered” than retro cosplay. With a colour combo that won't pop in the same way as the wider release packs making it more a case of IYKYK.

Key athlete:
Furon v9: Bukayo Saka (England)

ADIDAS F50 'EL ULTIMO TANGO'

One last dance? Better pull on your best dancing shoes then. For that, adidas equip Lionel Messi with a design fittingly known as 'El Último Tango’. Taking things back to that first World Cup back in 2006 for inspiration, and the F50.6 TUNiT that Messi wore, it's decked out in Argentina colours.

Key athlete:
Lionel Messi (Argentina)

KIDSUPER X PUMA ULTRA 6 PULISIC

A World Cup on home soil, Captain America has to have a special boot, right? And so PUMA called on long-time collaborator, KidSuper to put a special touch on the Ultra 6 for the occasion.

Key Athlete:
Christian Pulisic (U.S.)
