Paris Saint-Germain frontman Mauro Icardi has provided a glimpse at the next Nike PhantomVNM on-pitch colourway as the Argentine trained ahead of his club's return to Ligue 1 action when they travel to the south coast to take on Nice tomorrow night.

The fresh colourway isn't expected to officially launch until next week, but Icardi may give them an early preview should he be involved in PSG's plans tomorrow night. What we're looking at is a fairly simple colour update that takes on a warm orange, black and white design reminiscent of one of the most memorable T90 Laser IV colourways. A tried and test Nike combination that's synonymous with their attacking players.

The new colourway will replace the current 'New Lights' edition which has been on pitch for the entire 2019/20 season to date. That vibrant "Volt" wrap will be replaced by an equally eye-catching design that will make up part of Nike's new on pitch collection to coincide with the winter season – a date indicated by the clocks going back and the introduction of the hi-vis balls: The official beginning of winter. The rest of the pack is yet to be sighted on training pitches suggesting that the Swoosh may be reserving the colour up for their Phantom series, so keep an eye on the PhantomVSN too.
