The creative side of football has blossomed in the last decade. Embracing the culture that lives and breathes off the pitch, the 'We Draw Football' exhibition in Korea has assembled a mixture of different mediums to celebrate where art meets the game.
A lead contributor to the cause is creative agency Atmosphere Studio. Their offering for the exhibition takes an experimental route in picking out icons from the tournament. From Ronaldo, to Messi, to Pogba, a select few players have been given a treatment that brings strong shapes and vibrant colours together. While a large focus of the exhibition is on illustration, there are various other tactile elements that come into play. Custom jerseys through to sculpted players, it goes beyond any expectation as it spreads through various rooms, each taken over by an individual artist.
