As we enter the time of the year when club’s unveil their new kits for the coming campaign, one club stand’s out as one of the most anticipated: that of new Serie A champions, Inter Milan. Pro Evo kit designer Eder Mello has added to that anticipation, creating a pair of striking home and away concept shirts for Inter.

PES provides a platform for designers to show off their creative sides, and Eder Melo already has a good track record with his offerings, almost hitting the nail on the head with his PSG concept recently. And now he’s turned his attention to Inter Milan, taking the snake style that’s synonymous with the club and running with it across both home and away shirts.

Inter are in the midst of an identity update, with their upcoming kits set to be the first without the iconic ‘Pirelli’ sponsor, while it will also be the first with their new club crest. The new Italian champions’ shirts are often among the best in Europe, with Nike rarely disappointing.

For his view of the 21/22 offering, Mello has brought back the snake design that was last seen on the 2010/11 shirt, seeing the blue reptile wrapping around the white-body base. For the home shirt, the snake theme is continued, with a snake skin print being used on the blue of the traditional blue-and-black Inter look, in a design that’s not too dissimilar to a concept created by rupertgraphic back in 2020.

Finger's crossed that this is something near to what we get.
