Nike continue the crossover between the worlds of football, running and streetwear, by taking the aesthetics of the ‘Euphoria Mode’ pack and translating it for two fresh new looks for the React Element 55 sneaker.

This isn't the first time Nike have crossed the boundaries between the worlds of football and running, merging the two for some pitch-perfect street style. It’s not even the first time they’ve done it with the ‘Euphoria Mode’ pack, with a recent blend giving us the Air Max Plus in a couple of looks borrowing directly from the spray paint effect of Nike’s on-pitch pack.

But the React Element 55 arrives with a bit more of a subtle link than the Air Max Plus. Instead, what we get here is the 50-50 split of the ‘Euphoria Mode’ pack that sees the Phantom twins in ‘Racer Blue’ and the Mercurial and Tiempo in ‘Hyper Crimson’, split across a choice of two sneakers.

Both pairs feature a predominantly white base, but each go their separate ways from there, with the coloured accents that pop through the heel, midsole and Swoosh available in either of the two aforementioned colours. The React Element 55 has become one of Nike's leading SS19 silhouettes with its distinct design, comfortable ride and growing collection of sharp colour combinations.

It’s the first time that the Nike React Element 55 sneakers have enjoyed a link to the footballing world, with the Epic React getting all the spotlight following bespoke offerings for PSG, Barcelona, Chelsea and Spurs. That’s been followed by a first look at the the laceless Phantom React Flyknit shoe, as Nike continue to push the crossover potential between performance, and lifestyle.
