Bringing some authentic feels of home flavour to the table, Nike have released the PSG Epic React Flyknit 2 sneaker, dressed out in the Parisian club’s traditional colours of blue and red.

A couple of weeks ago news dropped about the release of the Nike x PSG Epic React Flyknit 2, as the Swoosh and Paris Saint-Germain took their collaborative efforts off pitch and into the world of running. But arriving ahead of launch, the pics only gave us a look at the alternate variant of the sneaker, which was black with pink accents, reminiscent of PSG’s memorable 2015-16 Champions League jersey. Now, with the sneaker launching for retail, we get a proper look at the home variant.

Taking PSG’s traditional home kit colouring, the sneaker sees a blue base fitted out with red accents, along with the PSG logo sitting on the tongue, in the same way that it does in the alternate sneaker. The same template was also used on the Nike Barcelona Epic React Flyknit 2 sneakers that were released last week with the help of Barca midfielder, Sergi Roberto, and it will be interesting to see if Nike follow suit with any of their other clubs.

While the Epic React is a performance shoe predominantly designed for running, the comfort it offers combined with the stylings of the club make it the perfect partner for lifestyle circles. It’s not hard to imagine Neymar, Mbappe, Cavani and co. opting for the easy-going ride on their way to and from matches.

Both colourways of the Nike PSG Epic React Flyknit 2 are available at the PSG Store and through Nike By You.
