Taking inspiration from the gold-adorned ‘Input Code’ pack, which launched recently, adidas release the Predator 19.1 TR in two clean designs; one black, one white, and both embellished with matte gold detailing.

Following on from the launch of the ‘Input Code’ pack, which has seen the on-pitch Predator, COPA, Nemeziz and X resplendently dressed out with a regal gold trim in time for the return of the Champions League, adidas launch the Predator 19.1 TR in two colourways that also use gold detailing for a standout look on the street.

Whereas the Predator 19+ fully embraces the gold look, both of these trainers take a more subtle approach. The white option actually looks more like the ‘Input Code’ COPA 19+, using gold on the Three Stripes in the same way. The only other appearance of the matte gold colouring is then on the ‘Predator’ heel branding. Other than that, you are left with a clean white canvas, upon which the Three Stripes really pop.

The black option restricts the appearance of gold to the heel, with the rest of the upper remaining black, including the Three Stripes, although it rides in on the white boost and gum rubber outsole. Would’ve been nice to see a full embrace of the darkness with that blacked out too, but it doesn’t detract from what is a good looking trainer and a nice contrast to the more standout white option.
