Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has finally announced a long awaited boot deal with PUMA, ending a two year spell without an official boot deal. Just in time for the Belgium's opening 2018 World Cup game. Good timing, that.

Considering he's the Premier League's most expensive striker, Lukaku surprisingly spent nearly two seasons without a boot deal. He's flirted between PUMA, Nike, and adidas during his non-contract time, but now he's finally put pen to paper with the Big Cat in a deal that was executed between PUMA and Roc Nation Sports – Jay-Z's athlete agency of which Lukaku is signed to.

To mark the announcement PUMA and Roc Nation Sports have released an album cover featuring artwork of Lukaku, leaning on Roc Nations's music industry ties.

Lukaku has already worn the PUMA ONE 19.1 "Illuminate Pack" in Belgium's recent friendly against Costa Rica, and with the deal now in place he'll remain in the colourway throughout the the duration of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, before switching into PUMA's next plans for the start of the 2018/19 season.

The big man is pleased with his choice: “Choosing on an exclusive sportswear brand to work with is an important decision, not just for the boots on the pitch but for my goals and desires off of it. I look forward to hustling with the big cat in the future.”
