Rather than intensifying the heat adidas are cooling things down with the launch of their new spring/summer 2015 Climachill product range, their most advanced cooling technology that keeps players 36% cooler than previous collections.

The sleek, all-black collection is a step away from the usual ranges of all-white wear normally associated with cooling apparel. Literally the coolest baselayer adidas have ever prodcued, the SS15 line offers an instant cooling sensation for training and matches in hot conditions using advanced breathability and supreme heat & moisture transfer capabilities.

Dr Maarten Hupperets, Director Future Sport Science at adidas explained why it's important to consider body temperature during working out: "Humans strive to maintain a stable body core temperature of about 37°C. In response to exercise, the body core temperature can increase up to 3°C in warm ambient conditions. To maintain a stable body core temperature, the human body will make efforts to lose excess heat. Climachill has been rigorously tested in our state-of-the-art Clima chamber as high as 122°F/50 degree Celsius exactly to find the best possible answer to facilitate body cooling."

Some description

3D aluminum-cooling spheres are strategically located on the back and neck to correspond with the warmest body areas. A micro fibre fabric allows the garment to act like mesh and transports excess moisture away from the skin and the SubZero flat yarn contains titanium and maximises surface contact with skin, transferring more heat away from the body.
